Application Deadline: 

Registration will open from 1st May 2026 with the deadline of midnight on 30th June 2026.

Application Requirements: 

The Supplementary Information Form (SIF) can be obtained from the school’s website (www.newsteadwood.co.uk). In previous years, the following documents have been required. We advise you to look through the registration form in good time in case you need to acquire digital copies of the below.

You may need to include:

1)  Photocopy of proof of child’s residential address. Please note utility bills are not acceptable.

2)  Evidence in support of Looked After or Previously Looked After Children or eligibility for Pupil/Service Premium, if appropriate.

3)  Two recent passport-sized photographs (to be used solely as a security measure by the School).

The application form needs to be printed and completed and then sent by post or personally delivered to the school. The school recommends sending applications by guaranteed delivery. A postal confirmation will be sent to you after the application is processed.

Exam Date: 

The selection test will be held on 25th and 26th September 2026.

Results:

The outcome of the test will be sent out between 16th and 22nd October 2026.

St. Olave’s

Application Deadline: 

Applications open on 8th June 2026 from 9am and close on 29th June 2026 at midday.

Application Requirements: 

To register your son to sit the Selective Eligibility Test (SET), you need to complete the St Olave’s Online Supplementary Information Form (SIF). This is available from 8th June 2026.

You will also need to provide a recent passport-style photograph, and details of any SEND or medical needs, or any special circumstances affecting the application process.

Exam Dates: 

Stage 1: Friday, 18th September 2026

Stage 2: Friday, 13th November 2026

Bexley Grammar Schools

Application Deadline:

Kent Grammar Schools

Application Deadline: 

Registrations for the Kent Test open on 1st June 2026 and close at midnight on 1st July 2026.

Application Requirements:

The online form needs to be completed before the deadline. 

Exam Dates: 

The exam dates are Thursday 10th September 2026 for children who go to school in Kent and the weekend of 12th September 2026 for children who go to school outside of Kent. 

The assessment results will be sent on Thursday 15th October 2026 after 4pm.
